  • Dolce Niente - Sweet Nothing -

           ----------------------------

                                       Dolce Niente

A Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn Drabble Series

Disclaimer: The series Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn is the creation of Akira Amano. This fanfiction is the product of RANNOC’s Kiwi’s mind when faced with a new obsession.

            ----------------------------

    I   Undeniable Bond

His ever present smile upon his complexion smiled down on you. The moon shone allowing light to pass through the darkened room, illuminating the sliver of glittering metal lightly tracing the contours of your face.

Saliva ran down your throat and a cool icy chill ran down your spine. You never could get used to being in such proximity. His arm was locked around your waist as he pressed you against his firm slim chest. Your heart was excruciatingly twisting within your breast, in pure anxiety rather than embarrassment.

He tilted your head upwards with the end of his blade, frivolously marking a bold tint on your cheek, “Hmm? Why so quiet love?”

You weren’t even fazed by the fact that you were wounded. You didn’t even utter a sound or breath; it was like a hand was forcefully encompassing around your throat and strangulating you. Your eyes were unfocused yet they were deeply scrutinizing the lurking darkness behind him.

Releasing his hold, his palm strokes your cheek while, unconsciously you lean into the comfortable warmth that was offered to you. Your eyes half lidded in a haze and the contractions made origin from your chest slowed into a fitful state. However, it was a misfortunate mistake on your part.

The movement was quick and nipped an unfathomable slice right above your shoulder blade, “You should answer a prince when he addresses you, sweet~”

“Yes, of course,” Your voice crackled at the last syllable, “I apologize.”

He dips his head. The tips of his straight blonde locks tickle your skin unintentionally and a wet appendage follows the trail of red staining your blouse. It traveled back whence it came; gliding athwart your neck and softly kisses the bloomed crimson flower he had previously placed on your flesh. You bit back the urges to voice your pain. You knew he would take it as a sign to continue his “ministrations”.

“Ushishi~ what an obedient little pet you are.” He chuckles.

  • A lovely little lie.

Song Inspiration: Hakanaku mo Towa no Kanashi - UVERWorld

    Quit babbling
    Sprouting falsehoods
    Turning away
    Never bothering
    So seemingly delightful
    Moreover a farce.

    Don't pretend
    Feigning ignorance
    Innocent smiles
    Undetectable masks
    So seemingly pleasant
    Moreover a farce.

    Irrestible temptation
    Beckoning you
    Blinding Seduction
    Hence be fooled
    So seemingly amourous
    Moreover a farce.

    Closed eyes
    Deafened lust
    Poisonous touch
    Tasting sin
    So seemingly fufilling
    Moreover a farce.

    Frigid warmth
    With 'love'
    Such darkness
    Overflowing within
    So seemingly comforting
    Moreover a farce.

    Dear sweet
    Heartless entity
    Do you cry
    Do you weep
    So seemingly empty
    Moreover the indefinite truth.

  • No Apology

    Coming out all too quickly

Had too much, it was suffocating

    What should I have done?

    Manifesting by inklings

    Of darker inner thoughts

    So ugly

Honesty is a weakness of ours

    It was a meltdown

    A breakdown

    About to explode

    Sorry just doesn’t cut it

    Anymore

    Coming out all too quickly

Wished I had, kept tightlipped shut

    Why did they slip out?

    Fueled by strokes

    Of such petty reasons

    So stupid

Poison spewed tainting both of us

    It was a meltdown

    A breakdown

    About to explode

    Sorry just doesn’t cut it

    Anymore

    Coming out all too quickly

Quick to bite, never once thinking

    Who cares about the consequence?

    Created by outbursts

    Of pure childish tantrums

    So sickening

    Spite becomes a deadly weapon

    It was a meltdown

    A breakdown

    About to explode

    Sorry just doesn’t cut it

    Anymore

    Coming out all too quickly

    I can’t re-wind and play backwards

    How could I?

    Unleashed by cries

    Of bitterly unjust emotion

    So predictable

    Shot you down without remorse

    It was a meltdown

    A breakdown

    About to explode

    Sorry just doesn’t cut it

    Anymore

    So you’re not listening

    So I’m not bothering

So I won’t waste my breath

So you’re just ignoring me now

    So we’re over

    So apology not accepted

  • Never Understood Why

She waits for daylight to fade
Watching the clouds come rolling past
There's nothing left but night to see
    I never understood why

    She sits by the phone
    Patiently listening for a sign
It's been silent for three days
    I never understood why

She looks over to the clock
    Fidgeting frequently from anxiety
    It's still moving
    I never understood why

    She hides under covers
    Drowning out the doubt
    No one is coming
    I never understood why

    She went out at last
    Breathing freedom out of binds
It was time to leave it behind
    I finally understood why

She waits for daylight to fade
Watching the clouds come rolling past
There's nothing left but night to see
    She was abandoned.
